Plagiarism Prevention

Plagiarized manuscripts will not be published in the Nangarhar University Journal of Arts and Humanities. Plagiarism, which involves taking someone else's ideas, words, or other creative expressions and presenting them as one’s own, is a clear violation of scientific ethics, as outlined by the Editorial Board. Plagiarism may also result in a copyright violation, leading to legal consequences.

To ensure the integrity of our publications, we use Turnitin and Grammarly software to check all submitted papers.

Plagiarism can be defined as:

  • Copying another author’s work verbatim (word for word) or nearly verbatim, or intentionally paraphrasing portions of another author’s work without clearly indicating the source, or marking the copied sections (e.g., using quotation marks), as outlined under Authors' Responsibilities.

  • Copying content (such as equations, figures, or tables) from another paper without proper citation or without permission from the original author or copyright holder.

Any manuscript suspected of plagiarism will be automatically rejected. If plagiarism is detected in a paper that has already been published, the paper will be retracted per the Retraction Policy.
