Editorial Responsibilities

Editorial Responsibilities

The Editor-in-Chief and Journal Manager of NUJAH hold the primary responsibility for deciding which submitted manuscripts are suitable for publication. These decisions are based exclusively on the academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of the work to the scope of the journal, free from any form of discrimination related to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnicity, or political views.

All editorial decisions are guided by the journal’s editorial policies and applicable legal standards, including those addressing libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.

Editorial Board members, including the Editor-in-Chief, must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and are required to recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have financial, professional, or personal interests. Editors involved in the review process must remain impartial and uphold the integrity of the publication.

All submitted manuscripts and related materials are treated with strict confidentiality. Editors and editorial staff must not use unpublished information or ideas disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their advantage without the express written consent of the author(s).

To preserve the integrity of the double-blind peer review process, editors must ensure that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout and after the review process.
